After an early heat wave in March, the rains have returned to Sonoma. The air has softened, the pace has shifted, and everything is settling into a more natural rhythm.

We have some news, and we will be honest with you about it.

After moving into our current atelier this past December, we have made the difficult decision to move again. We know. Five months is a short chapter.

This space is genuinely beautiful. Sunny, airy, and tucked into one of Sonoma's prettiest courtyards. We have loved being here. But a boutique like Kearsley lives and breathes on spontaneous discovery, on someone walking past, catching a glimpse, and stepping inside. That simply has not happened here the way it needs to.

So we are doing the hard thing now rather than waiting. We have narrowed in on a few ground floor, street-facing spaces on or near the Sonoma Plaza, and we will share our new address the moment it is confirmed. In the meantime, we are moving as little as possible, which is exactly why this sale exists.

A Moving Sale, With Good Reason

The less we carry, the better. And for you, that means an exceptional opportunity.

All regular-priced Kearsley and Barbara Beckmann pieces are offered at 50% off.
Items already reduced are an additional 50% off their current sale price.

This is not just for those who need new bed linens. The sale includes a wide range of beautiful things for every room and every occasion:

  • Bed linens, sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers, and coverlets
  • Pairs of pillow shams and pillowcases
  • Outdoor and decorative pillows
  • Fine fabrics by the yard, beautiful for upholstery, drapery, table runners, and more
  • Hotel sample robes
  • A stunning sleigh bed and other furnishings
  • Original artwork and rare textile pieces
  • Barbara Beckmann Designs pieces

A wider selection is available in-store, including one-of-a-kind pieces not listed online.

For Your Spring and Easter Table: Kim Seybert

We are delighted to present the Kim Seybert tabletop collection, and spring is exactly the moment for it. Whether you are hosting an Easter lunch, a garden dinner, or simply want to set a beautiful table for the season, these are the pieces that make a meal feel like an occasion. Available in the atelier and online.

Silk, Properly Understood

We have added a carefully selected offering of ethical silk pieces within the atelier, chosen for their integrity, hand, and performance.

Pillowcases, eye masks, scrunchies, and scarves, alongside silk-filled duvets, throw blankets, and pillows.

Silk is one of the most naturally intelligent fibers. It is temperature regulating, breathable, antimicrobial, and genuinely supportive for those sensitive to down.

It is also exceptionally beneficial for skin and hair. Its smooth surface reduces friction, helping to protect both while you sleep.

It is not slippery or insubstantial. It is calm, soft, and quietly luxurious.

Available now on the website and in the atelier. If something shows as out of stock, replenishment is quick.

Wool, Reconsidered

We make wool pillows and duvets, merino wool and cashmere mattress toppers, and healthy wool dog beds, all crafted in England and fully customizable.

Pillows can be made with extra wool fill for those who prefer more loft. Lead time is approximately two weeks.

Wool is naturally temperature regulating and breathable. It wicks moisture rather than trapping it, meaning you sleep drier and more comfortably through the night.

It is antimicrobial, resistant to dust mites, and an excellent alternative for those sensitive to down.

And it is not itchy. At this level, wool is soft, clean, and deeply comfortable.

The dog beds deserve a mention of their own. Healthy, beautiful, and made with the same attention we bring to everything else.

Reading on Rainy Days

If the weather has you in a reading mood, we have shared two recent pieces on Substack.

The True Cost and Timeline of Luxury Linens offers a clear look at what fine linen actually costs, why the range is so vast, and how to think about timing a purchase.

Spinster: Before the Insult, She Was Something Else Entirely explores the history of spinning, the women behind it, and what it tells us about textile work and craft. Funny, strange, and genuinely interesting.

Both are free to read.
