For nearly three decades, Kearsley has served private clients, interior designers, and collectors through deeply personal relationships, extraordinary textiles, and a commitment to craftsmanship that has guided the company since its beginning.
Kearsley first opened a shop in Sonoma in 1997, remaining here until 2003 before expanding to London for five years. Since then, we have primarily worked through private appointments, the interior design trade, special events, and custom projects for clients throughout the United States and internationally.
San Francisco Decorator Showcase
This season has brought meaningful recognition and creative collaborations that we are incredibly proud of.
Most recently, Kearsley’s Carneros Air-Tumbled Linen Bedspread was featured in the 2026 San Francisco Decorator Showcase in the Sonoma Interiors “Birds of a Feather” room, which remains open through Memorial Day.
Tickets for the Showcase are available here:

The project has gained media exposure through Architectural Digest, Sonoma Magazine, House Beautiful, Henry Magazine, and Luxe.
It has been an absolute pleasure collaborating with the talented Andrea Halkovich of Sonoma Interiors, who is also a friend from high school with whom I was reconnected through the design trade many years later. Seeing her creation come together in such a beautiful and beautiful way has been incredibly meaningful.

A Season of Writing and Reflection
This spring, I was honored to serve as an expert contributor to the April issue of The Social Publication Sonoma, where I wrote the article:
“What You Sleep On Matters: Vibration, Craft, and the Energy in Bed Linens.”
The article explores the connection between craftsmanship, natural fibers, wellbeing, and the environments we create around ourselves. I will expand upon this coming up in Substack.
Why We Are Moving
Six months ago, we opened our present Sonoma location with great hope, gratitude, and excitement. It gave us the gift of time and space to organize years of beautiful fabrics, create new products, complete one-of-a-kind pieces, and welcome people into the world of Kearsley in a more public way once again.
We are truly sad to be moving.
This space has beautiful light and space for us that has been important chapter of preparation for what comes next.
Despite the beauty of the space and the wonderful support from existing clients and friends of the brand, the location itself ultimately proved too difficult in terms of visibility and consistent foot traffic to sustain a public retail model. After six months, fewer than 50 new people discovered the store.
At the same time, this experience helped us reconnect with what has always been at the heart of Kearsley: private clients, interior designers, bespoke linens, exceptional natural fibers, personal consultation, and thoughtfully crafted interiors.
Kearsley has never truly been defined by a storefront. It has always been defined by craftsmanship, relationships, and the belief that the things we live with every day should elevate life itself.

Our Final Week in the Space
For now, our entire focus is on these final days in the space and our Moving Sale.
The sale is happening online now and in person Tuesday, May 12 through Saturday, May 16 from 11:30am to 5:30pm at Kearsley, 561 C First Street East in Sonoma, California, one block south of The Red Grape (Sonoma Plaza).
The sale features rare reductions on couture linens, fabrics, furnishings, artisan works, and one-of-a-kind pieces created from our own fabrics and collections gathered over many years.
