Kearsley is pleased to carry Kailu in our Sonoma atelier and online.

Kailu is built on a simple conviction: that the oldest silk traditions, practiced by the same families who have worked the Yangtze River Delta for generations, produce something that modern manufacturing cannot replicate. Their Heritage Silk duvets are filled with raw mulberry silk, hand-stretched cocoon by cocoon by local artisans into soft, breathable layers. No reeling. No weaving. The silk is left in its natural state, which is precisely what makes it perform the way it does.

Raw mulberry silk is naturally temperature-regulating, hypoallergenic, and resistant to dust mites. It responds to your body rather than working against it, which makes it genuinely useful for hot sleepers, cold sleepers, and anyone whose sleep has been disrupted by night sweats or temperature fluctuation. Each Heritage duvet contains approximately 10,000 hand-stretched cocoons. The throws and pillowcases carry the same material integrity in a smaller form.

This is handmade goods with a clear point of view and a traceable origin. That is why it belongs at Kearsley.
