Owner's Representative & Construction Consultant

David Erotas
A home is only as good as the way it is built, and on a project of any scale, the quality, cost, and craftsmanship are won or lost in decisions most owners are never positioned to judge. David Erotas spent five decades on the other side of those decisions, and he now stands on the client's side of them.
David learned construction from the ground up, beginning with a four-year carpentry apprenticeship through the Chicago District Council of Carpenters before founding and leading a series of respected building, development, and property management firms. As founder and president of Erotas Building Corporation, Minnesota Structures, Trias Development, Ethos Building, and EBC Property Management, he spent decades building, renovating, and managing luxury custom homes and estate properties, earning a reputation throughout the Minneapolis and St. Paul region for craftsmanship, high standards, and client care.
That experience is comprehensive by design. David has worked alongside architects, designers, engineers, and trades on complex projects where budgets, schedules, and quality all had to hold together at once. His command spans luxury residential construction, remodeling, estate management, contractor supervision, budgeting, scheduling, and quality control, and as an early advocate for energy-efficient building, he served with the Energy Efficient Home Builders Association and consulted to the Minnesota Cold Climate Group.
David brings this experience to the client's side of the table as an Owner's Representative and Construction Consultant. Working alongside Heather and Alethia, he helps evaluate and select builders, specialty trades, subcontractors, and landscape professionals, and manages their execution throughout the build. With design, project management, and construction expertise aligned under one roof, the client's vision is protected from concept through completion, along with the budget, the timeline, and the quality of the work.
David and his wife Holly relocated from Minnesota to Winters, California in 2021, where they completed a full renovation of their own home. Married since 1972, they are proud parents, grandparents, and longtime advocates for fine craftsmanship, community, and charitable giving.
