Now Welcoming Visitors: The Kearsley Atelier in Sonoma

After many years working quietly behind the scenes, Kearsley now welcomes guests into our Sonoma Atelier.

This is a working studio, but also a place to visit often. Some guests come to design an entire bed. Others stop in on the way to dinner, a birthday, or a weekend gathering and want a gift that feels considered rather than convenient.

Inside the Atelier you will find bedding and bath collections, along with the smaller pieces that make a home feel complete. Cocktail napkins, coasters, placemats, throw pillows, cashmere pieces, Alethia’s bags, clothing, and thoughtful objects meant to be lived with daily. Many visitors simply keep a few on hand so they never arrive empty handed.

Kearsley has long been known for fully bespoke projects, yet the Atelier now includes a wide range of pieces that make it easy to visit regularly, whether selecting a future heirloom or a simple, beautiful gesture.

Fine textiles must be experienced in person. The weight of a towel, the hand of a fabric, and the finish of embroidery cannot be understood through a screen. The Atelier exists so people can see and feel the difference.

For the Home You Live In Every Day

We are always happy to guide clients through selecting their ideal bed or bath, but most visits are simpler. Replacing worn napkins. Refreshing pillows for a season. Finding a last minute host gift that still feels intentional.

Design evolves in layers, not in one large purchase.

Appointments and Designers Welcome

Private appointments allow us to build a bed or home program properly, taking into account climate, comfort preferences, laundering habits, and how you actually live.

Interior designers and their clients are always welcome. Designers may meet here and use the Design Center room in Sonoma for project meetings and material reviews.

Private consultations available for:

• Designer meetings

Planning a dinner party or gathering? We are happy to work with what you already own, add to it thoughtfully, or create a complete tablescape for the occasion. Kearsley has continued designing tables in Sonoma since our original store closed in 2003.

Valentine’s Morning

We will be open Saturday February 14th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for those needing a thoughtful last minute gift. Beautiful objects chosen well never feel last minute.
