Heather Kearsley Wolf and her mother, Gail Wolf, co-founded Kearsley, a luxury linen company that draws upon their family's rich heritage in textiles. Heather's lineage includes over 450 years in England's weaving and woolen trades, with ancestors who owned textile mills in Yorkshire and Lancashire. Her father was a menswear buyer and founder of a bespoke suit-making company in Munich, while her mother, Gail, is a third-generation high-end seamstress with her own couture dressmaking business. This deep-rooted connection to textiles and craftsmanship inspired Heather and Gail to establish Kearsley in 2001, aiming to create beautifully made bed linens that transcend the usual white or frilly designs.

Heather's formal education includes a Bachelor's Degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo College of Architecture and Design and Master's studies in Interior Design from the International Academy of Design & Technology in Chicago. She is an NCIDQ-qualified interior designer and a member of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA). Her professional affiliations also include the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and the Victorian Society of America.

In 2001, Heather and her mother launched Kearsley Couture, now known as Kearsley, to create beautifully made bed linens that transcend the usual white or frilly designs. Heather's vision became clear while operating her own interior design firm in the late 1990s, where she identified a need for luxury linens that were not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and sustainable. She went directly to Northern Italy with her ideas and today sources—or in many cases creates—fabrics that bring the Kearsley experience to life.

Heather's commitment to ethical and sustainable practices is evident in Kearsley's operations. The company ensures that its products are made ethically, sustainably, and with an eye to the artisans who bring their personal magic to the product.

Heather's extensive experience and deep understanding of textiles make her a valuable guide for clients and designers alike. Together, Gail and Heather famously worked a grueling 27 hours over three days to create a couture crib blanket for a future king—an achievement that reflects her passion and drive.
